As part of the 4 yearly review of modern awards under s.156 of the Fair Work Act 2009, the Fair Work Commission is reviewing penalty rates in a number of awards in the hospitality and retail sectors.
Applications regarding outstanding issues have been received as a result of directions in the transitional arrangements decision. These will be dealt with by the Commission as provided by the 4 August 2017 statement.
