The Commission must start to deal with an application for an order to stop bullying or sexual harassment (or both) within 14 days after the application is made.[123]
This early intervention helps individual workers to engage with their employer or principal to resolve a matter quickly and inexpensively, with the ultimate aim of restoring a safe working relationship.[124]
Making an application does not of itself stop any actions taking place at a workplace. This includes investigations to deal with alleged bullying and/or sexual harassment as well as the implementation of any investigation outcome.
