AN150029 – Carpenters & Joiners (General) Award 1993

(a) Except as provided in subclause (b) hereof, this Award shall be binding on the industry of the occupations of carpenters and joiners or carpenters making joinery work (except shopfitting work on a building site or construction on site work) who are employed by any employer, whether as employers or employees.
(b) This Award shall not be binding on those persons who are for the time being subject to an industrial agreement within the meaning of Schedule 1 Transitional Provisions of the Industrial and Employee Relations Act 1994 or Enterprise Agreement under the said Act:
(1) The Broken Hill Proprietary Company Limited or any of its employees; or
(2) State Transport Authority;
(3) Commissioner for Public Employment;
(4) South Australian Health Commission;
(5) any district council or council of any municipality or employees or any such council; or
(6) The Broken Hill Associated Smelters Proprietary Limited or any of its employees; or
(7) any employer or employee who is currently bound by the Building Trades (S.A.) Construction Award (1984 No.45)
