CLAUSE 55. TOOLS

(a) The employer shall provide the following tools when they are required by him to be used:

Dogs and cramps of all descriptions.
Bars of all descriptions.
Augers of all sizes.
Star bits and bits not ordinarily used in a brace.
Hammers, except claw hammers.
Glue pots and glue brushes.
Dowel plates.
Trammels.
Hand and thumb screws.
Spanners.
Soldering irons.
Power tools to be provided by the employer if in his opinion they are necessary or desirable.

(b) When an employee, who is employed in a shop, joinery mill or a workshop associated with a mixed enterprise, is required by his employer to work away from his usual shop, the employer shall provide facilities for the safe keeping of the employee's tools left on the site overnight.
