4 yearly review of modern awards – Horse and Greyhound Training Award 2010 – substantive issue - part-time employment provisions.
A. Further to the decision issued by the Full Bench of the Fair Work Commission on 9 April 2020 [ FWCFB 1901] and 29 May 2020 [[ FWCFB 2788]], the Horse and Greyhound Training Award 2010 is varied as follows:
1. By deleting clause 10.3 and inserting the following:
10.3 Part-time employment
A part-time employee means an employee who works a regular pattern of hours from week to week which is less than the standard ordinary hours in any week.
2. By updating the cross-references accordingly.
B. This determination comes into operation from 29 May 2020. In accordance with s.165(3) of the Fair Work Act 2009 this determination does not take effect until the start of the first full pay period that starts on or after 29 May 2020.
