Expense-related allowances.

A. Pursuant to s.157 of the Fair Work Act 2009, the above award is varied as follows:

1. By deleting the amount “$1.95” appearing in clause 17.2(b) and inserting “$1.97”.

2. By deleting the amount “$12.35” appearing in clause 17.3(a) and inserting “$12.49”.

3. By deleting the amount “$0.78” appearing in clause 17.3(b)(i) and inserting “$0.85”.

4. By deleting the amount “$0.26” appearing in clause 17.3(b)(ii) and inserting “$0.28”.

5. By deleting the table appearing in clause C.2.1 and inserting the following:

Broken shift allowance—excess fares	17.2(b)	1.97	per day
Meal allowance—overtime for more than one and a half hours	17.3(a)	12.49	per occasion
Vehicle allowance—Own motor vehicle	17.3(b)(i)	0.85	per km
Vehicle allowance—Own motorcycle	17.3(b)(ii)	0.28	per km

B. This determination comes into operation on 1 November 2021. In accordance with s.165(3) of the Fair Work Act 2009 this determination does not take effect in relation to a particular employee until the start of the employee’s first full pay period that starts on or after 1 November 2021.
