5.5 LEVEL 2 AND 3 EMPLOYEES IN TRAINING

5.5.1 Any adult employee carrying out a period of training to obtain proficiency in any work category provided for in Levels 2 and 3 of clause 5.2 shall be paid at the following rates:

		First 76 Hours	Second 76 Hours
	Grade 1 Trainee	85% of the Level 2 Rate	-
	Grade 2 Trainee	85% of the Level 3 Rate	90% of the Level 3 Rate

Thereafter the appropriate rate shall apply.

5.5.2 Clause 5.5.1 shall only apply where the employee has had insufficient relevant experience.
