4.3.1 Casual employees (i.e. persons employed for less than 38 hours in any pay week) shall, whilst so employed, be paid 23% in addition to the rate per hour provided for the class of work in which they are employed (such rate per hour being deemed to be 1/38th of the full-time rate).
4.3.2 A casual shall receive a minimum of 3 hours' continuous work. This shall not affect the right of the employer to dismiss any casual employee for malingering, inefficiency, neglect of duty, or misconduct, and in such case, wages shall be paid up to the time of dismissal only.
