5.3.1 Poison allowance
Any employee who is required to handle the following fumigants during the course of their duties shall be paid an allowance of $2.79 per day:
(a) Methyl Bromide
(b) Hydro-cyanic acid
(c) Ethylene di-bromide
(d) Carbon di-sulphide
(e) Carbon tetra-chloride
5.3.2 Shift work allowances
Employees employed on afternoon or night shift shall be paid $9.70 per shift in addition to the wage rates prescribed in clause 5.2 for the class of work performed.
