5.4.1 Industry allowance - In addition to the rates of wages prescribed by clause 5.1 of this Award, all adult employees will be paid an industry loading to compensate for disabilities associated with working in this industry of $12.60 ($12.20 as from 15/8/05) per week or $2.40 ($2.33 as from 15/8/05) per day to be paid on the basis of 30.90 cents (30 cents as from 15/8/05) for every hour worked.
5.4.2 Hide and skins in chilling stores - In addition to the rates set out herein, persons engaged in handling hides or skins in chilling stores and chambers in which the temperatures are artificially reduced will be paid 19.85 cents (19.25 cents as from 15/8/05) per hour extra for the time so engaged.
5.4.3 Leading hands - An employee appointed by the employer as a leading hand to supervise the work of other employees will be paid, in addition to the rate fixed for the class of work performed by the employee, the following amounts:

5.4.4 First aid attendant - An employee holding a St John's Ambulance or equivalent first aid certificate appointed to attend to patients and in establishments where there are female employees a second employee (female) appointed to attend to female patients will be paid $7.50 ($7.30 as from 15/8/05) per week in addition to the usual weekly wage and a reimbursement of actual fees incurred in obtaining and/or maintaining such certificates.
