CLAUSE 7.6 PUBLIC HOLIDAYS
OPDATE 12:03:2004 on and from
7.6.1 Subject to subclause 7.6.2, public holidays will be allowed to full-time and part-time employees without deduction of pay.
7.6.2 Public holidays are the days (or subsequent days) on which the following holidays are observed:

Adelaide Cup Day |
Australia Day |
Queens Birthday |
Good Friday |
Labour Day |
The day after Good Friday |
Christmas Day |
Easter Monday |
Proclamation Day |
Anzac Day |
or any other day which is declared a public holiday pursuant to the Holidays Act 1910.
7.6.3 This clause will not apply to the day after Good Friday in the case of an employer who is expressly permitted to carry on business on that day and does so.
7.6.4 Whyalla
Full-time and part-time employees engaged for work within the radius of 8 kilometres of the Chief Post Office in the City of Whyalla will be entitled to the above public holidays except that Boxing Day (26th December) will be a holiday in lieu of Proclamation Day, subject to the substitution of such public holiday by proclamation.
7.6.5 Meal breaks
The provisions of clause 6.2 relating to meal breaks will apply in respect of any work performed on days provided by this clause.
