CLAUSE 8.1 TRAVELLING, TRANSPORT AND FARES
OPDATE 04:01:99 on and from
8.1.1 Employees who are required to travel away from their home on the duty of the employer:
8.1.1.1 will be paid their fares and all expenses connected with the travelling; and
8.1.1.2 in the event of such employee being obliged to travel outside the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm, the employee will be paid at ordinary rates for all time spent in travelling outside their ordinary hours of duty up to a maximum of 8 hours in any one day; and
8.1.1.3 for any travelling time on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday will be paid for at the ordinary rates prescribed in Schedule 3.
8.1.2 Vehicle allowance
When an employee is required by an employer to use the employees own motor vehicle in the performance of the employees duties, such employee will be reimbursed at the rate set out in Schedule 3.
8.1.3 Compensation for fares
Employees employed by retail stores who normally work for the same employer in ordinary hours on 6 days each week will receive the compensation for fares when they are required to work their ordinary hours on a Saturday morning. For employees employed within and outside the Adelaide metropolitan area the payment for fares will be as prescribed in Schedule 3.
