4.9 SERVICE WITH TWO OR MORE CORPORATIONS

4.9.1 Continuity of service

For the purpose of clauses 4.6 and 4.7 “service” means continuous service (as defined in clause 1.8).

4.9.2 Service with two or more corporations

Where an employee has been employed by two or more corporations that are associated corporations, or by two or more corporations that are related to each other within the meaning of Section 50 of the Corporations Law, the service of the employee with each such corporation must be included in the calculation of the employee's continuous service for the purpose of determining the employee's entitlements according to clauses 4.6 and 4.7.
