38. - TRAVELLING TIME

(1) When an employee is required to work temporarily at a location other than the usual place of duty, any excess fare over that which he/she normally incurs shall be paid by the employer.

(2) When an employee is engaged at such a distance that he/she cannot return at night, suitable board and lodging shall be found at the employer’s expense.

(3) All travelling time outside ordinary working hours shall be paid for at ordinary rates up to a maximum of twelve hours in any twenty-four hours’ period from the time of starting on the journey.
