(1) A full time or part time employee who is absent during ordinary working hours for the purpose of donating blood shall not suffer any deduction of pay for the period involved.
(2) Such employee shall arrange as far as practicable for his/her absence to be as close as possible to the beginning or finishing time of his/her ordinary working hours.
(3) An employee shall notify the employer as soon as possible of the time and date upon which they are requesting to be absent for the purpose of donating blood.
(4) Reasonable proof of the attendance of the employee at the recognised place for the purpose of donating blood and the duration of such attendance, shall be furnished by the employee to employer.
