When it is necessary for an employee to be absent from his employment for the purposes of attending a funeral or arranging therefore, an employee (other than a casual employee) shall be entitled to a maximum of two days' leave at ordinary wages as prescribed on each occasion and on production of satisfactory evidence of the death within Australia of the employee's wife, husband, father, mother, brother, sister or child. Wife or husband, as referred to in this clause shall include defacto wife or husband.
