6. RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHER AWARDS AND DETERMINATIONS

6.1 Relationship with other awards

6.1.1 Previous award

This award supersedes the Australia Post Operations (Interim) Award 1995 [Print M9494 [AW766599]] but no right, obligation or liability incurred under that award will be affected by such supersession.

6.1.2 General conditions

Employees covered by this award, with the exception of the temporary part-time employees covered by clause 11 – Temporary part-time support service officers and clause 12 – Temporary part-time attendant/chef employees are covered by all provisions in the Australia Post General Conditions of Employment Award 1999 [Print S0871 [A1686]].

6.2 Inconsistency with determinations

This award will be read in conjunction with determinations made from time to time under s.89 of the Australian Postal Corporation Act 1989.

6.2.1 Where a determination is inconsistent with the provisions of this award, the latter will prevail.
