8.1 TRAVELLING, TRANSPORT AND FARES

8.1.1 Expenses

8.1.1(a) Employees who are required to travel Outside Metropolitan Adelaide and the City of Adelaide on the employers business will be paid an allowance as set out below:

$131.65 per day covering (for parts of a day):

Breakfast

Up to $13.20

Lunch

Up to $13.20

Dinner

Up to $27.40

Bed

Up to $72.60

Incidentals

Up to $5.50

8.1.1(b) Where an employee whose usual place of work is in a country location is required to travel to Adelaide and to stay overnight within the City of Adelaide or Metropolitan Adelaide the rates in 8.1.1(a) will be used except that in respect of bed where up to $83.90 will be paid.

This paragraph applies to employees who are required to stay overnight within the area defined as Metropolitan Adelaide in the Development Plan established under the planning Act, 1982.

8.1.1(c) Where an employee is required to travel from their usual workplace, on the employers business, but is not absent overnight the following allowances will be paid:

Breakfast

Up to $8.70

Dinner

Up to $12.70

8.1.1(d) Where an employee is required to travel interstate for a whole day or part of a day the following allowance, or part thereof will be paid:

$208.30 per day, covering for parts of a day:

Breakfast

Up to $17.40

Lunch

Up to $17.40

Dinner

Up to $32.20

Bed

Up to $132.20

Incidentals

Up to $9.20
