6.1 This Award relates to persons employed by Airservices Australia in any capacity in the provision of the following services: air traffic control, including coordination with neighbouring Flight Information Regions; airspace management; aviation rescue and fire fighting; aviation traffic and flight information; aviation navigation services; aeronautical information services; aeronautical publications services; environmental regulation and services in relation to aviation.
6.2 This Award extends to employees in support services which underpin these functions, including communications and surveillance systems, asset and data management, systems maintenance, International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) participation, consultancy services, project management, corporate and administrative support.
