In this award, unless the contrary intention appears:
4.1 Commission shall mean the Australian Industrial Relations Commission.
4.2 Technical service shall mean the process involved in the servicing, repairing, maintaining and/or structurally altering all forms of business equipment excluding typewriters, necessary to restore and/or maintain such equipment to the level of performance prescribed in the manufacturer's specifications.
4.3 Technical support shall mean the process involved in assembling, re-working, repairing, modifying and/or structurally altering, testing, fault detecting and logic diagnosing computers and/or peripheral devices of a mechanical, electro-mechanical or electronic nature.
4.4 Union shall mean the Australian Municipal, Administrative, Clerical and Services Union, the National Union of Workers or the Australian Liquor, Hospitality and Miscellaneous Workers Union.
