ROPING-IN AWARD NO. 1 OF 1999

1. TITLE

This award shall be known as the Business Equipment Industry (Technical Service) (Interim Roping-in No. 1) Award 1999.

2. PARTIES BOUND

This award shall be binding upon:

2.1 the Australian Municipal, Administrative, Clerical and Services Union, its officers and members; and

2.2 Edge Technology Pty Ltd, 60 O’Riordan Street, Alexandria, NSW, 2015, in respect of all of their employees whether members of the union or not.

3. APPLICATION

3.1 Subject to that which is otherwise provided in this award, the provisions of the Business Equipment Industry (Technical Service) Award, 1978 (other than the clauses referred to in clause 3.2) as varied from time to time, shall apply.

3.2 The following clauses of the Business Equipment Industry (Technical Service) Award, 1978 will not apply:

3.3 Leave is reserved for any party to this award to seek to have apply any of the clauses of the Business Equipment Industry (Technical Services) Award, 1978 referred to in clause 3.2, when the Business Equipment Industry (Technical Services) Award, 1978 is varied in accordance with sub-item 51(2) of Schedule 5 of the Workplace Relations and Other Legislation Amendment Act 1996.

4. OPERATION

This award shall come into force from the beginning of the first full pay period commencing on or after 16 February 1999 and shall remain in force for a period of six months or until the Item 51 review of the Business Equipment Industry (Technical Service) Award, 1978 is completed.
