(a) Proceedings by any employee against any respondent employer bound by this award named in Schedule "B" to this award for recovery of any amount alleged to be due to him by employers or an employer under this award may be taken against and in the name of the Company as representative of the said employers or employer and documents served on the Company in the manner prescribed in the Industrial Relations Regulations shall be deemed to have been served on the said employers or employer but this clause shall not impose any obligation on the Company itself with respect to long service leave or payment in lieu thereof pursuant to this award.
(b) A respondent employer bound by this award shall be liable to pay to the employee that proportion of the cost of granting the employee long service leave which bears to that cost the same ratio as the period or periods of the employment of the employee with that employer bears to the aggregate of the employee's periods of employment with respondents bound by this award during the qualifying service.
