1. TITLE
This award shall be known as the National Electrical, Electronic and Communications Contracting Industry (Roping-in No. 1) Award 2002.
2. PARTIES AND PERSONS BOUND
This award shall be binding upon:
(a) The Communications, Electrical, Electronic, Energy, Information, Postal, Plumbing and Allied Services Union of Australia; and
(b) the Employers set out in Annexure “A” hereto in respect of their employees engaged on the performance of work within the scope of the National Electrical, Electronic and Communications Contracting Industry Award 1998 whether members of the Communications, Electrical, Electronic, Energy, Information, Postal, Plumbing and Allied Services Union of Australia or not.
3. APPLICATION
The Award known as the National Electrical, Electronic and Communications Contracting Industry Award 1998 as varied from time to time shall be binding according to its terms upon the Communications, Electrical, Electronic, Energy, Information, Postal, Plumbing and Allied Services Union of Australia and upon the respondents named in Annexure “A” to this award.
4. OPERATION
This award shall come into force from the beginning of the first pay period to commence on or after 20 March 2002 and shall continue in force for a period of six months.
