PART 4 - HOURS OF WORK AND OVERTIME
4.1 HOURS OF DUTY
4.1.1 The ordinary hours of duty for employees shall be determined by the employer in accordance with this clause.
4.1.2 The ordinary hours of duty shall not exceed an average 38 per week to be worked on one of the following bases:
(a) 38 hours within a work cycle not exceeding 7 consecutive days; and
(b) 76 hours within a work cycle not exceeding 14 consecutive days.
4.1.3 The ordinary hours of duty for employees shall be worked:
(a) on any or all of the days of the week, Monday to Friday; and
(b) continuously, except for meal breaks, between 8.00 a.m. and 6.00p.m.
