3. INCIDENCE AND PARTIES BOUND

3.1 This award shall be binding upon the Independent Education Union, its Federal and State Officers, and its members and the employers named in the schedule of respondents to this Award in respect of teachers (as defined) employed by them, whether or not such teachers are members of the Independent Education Union.

3.2 This award shall take effect from the beginning of the first full pay period to commence on or after 13 July 1999 and shall remain in force for a period of six months thereafter.
