8. RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHER AWARDS

8.1 Supersession of previous award

This award supersedes the Commercial Travellers (ACT) Consolidated Award 1994 and any variations to this relating to employment of commercial travellers and wholesale merchandisers covered by this award, but no right, obligation or liability accrued or incurred under such previous award in respect of allowable award matters shall be affected hereby.

8.2 Savings clause

Nothing in this award shall in itself operate to reduce the conditions of employment of an employee which were in existence immediately prior to the commencement of this award.

8.3 National training wage

A party to this award shall comply with the terms of the National Training Wage Award 2000 [Print T0813 [N0277]], as varied, as though bound by clause 4 of that award.
