20.1 A consultative mechanism and procedure appropriate to the size, structure and needs of the establishment or enterprise may be established as outlined in clause 11 - Enterprise consultative mechanism in order to process any issues and/or matters that may arise in relation to training. Accordingly, the parties commit themselves to:
20.1.1 maintaining and developing an appropriately skilled and flexible workforce;
20.1.2 providing the opportunity for career development consistent with the need of the individual company; and
20.1.3 removing barriers to the utilisation of skills required.
20.2 Any employer may develop a training programme consistent with:
20.2.1 the current and future training needs for the enterprise;
20.2.2 the size, structure and nature of the operation of the enterprise; and
20.2.3 the need to develop vocational skills relevant to the enterprise through internal courses or courses conducted by accredited providers.
