18.1 Employees with the appropriate skills may be required to undertake work in more than one classification.
18.2 An employee engaged for more than four hours during one day on duties carrying a higher rate than his or her ordinary classification must be paid the higher rate for the whole of such day. If two hours or less during one day is the time so spent then he or she must be paid the higher rate for the time so worked.
