21.1.1 Overtime

An employee required to work not less than one hour of overtime (Monday to Sunday inclusive) after his or her ordinary time of ending work must be paid a meal allowance of $14.30.
21.1.2 Late night

A weekly employee entitled to a second meal break on any night under clause 25.1 must be paid a meal allowance of $14.30.
21.1.3 Payment
Meal money must be paid on either the same day as the overtime is worked, or in the next weekly or fortnightly pay.

An employee qualified to St. John Ambulance standard or the equivalent and appointed by the employer to act as the First Aid Attendant must be paid an allowance of $9.10 per week.

Where an employer occasionally requires an employee to use his or her own motor vehicle in performing his or her duties, the employee must be paid an allowance of at least 73 cents per kilometre.
21.4 Transfer of employee reimbursement
Where an employer requires an employee to transfer permanently from one township to another the employer must reimburse the employee for the whole of the moving expenses, including fares and transport charges, for the employee and his or her family.
21.5 Living away from home reimbursement
An employee, required by his or her employer to work temporarily away from his or her usual place of employment, and who is as a consequence required to sleep away from his or her usual place of residence is entitled to the following:
21.5.1 reimbursement of fares to and from the place at which the employer requires the employee to work;
21.5.2 reimbursement of all reasonable expenses incurred for board and lodging; and
21.5.3 a maximum payment of eight hours per day, at ordinary rates, for all time spent in travelling between the employee's normal place of employment and the temporary location.
21.6 Excess fares reimbursement
Where an employee is required by his or her employer to move from one branch or salon to another, in circumstances to which clauses 21.4 transfer of employee reimbursement, and/or 21.5 - Living away from home reimbursement do not apply, all additional fares so incurred by the employee must be reimbursed by the employer.
21.7. Transport of employees
Where an employee is required to commence and/or cease work after 10.00 p.m. on any day or prior to 7.00 a.m. on any day and the employee’s regular means of transport is not available and the employee is unable to arrange his or her own alternative transport, the employer is to provide or arrange proper transportation to and/or from the employee’s usual place of residence. Such transport is to be provided at no cost to the employee.
21.7.1 Provided always that an employee may elect to provide his or her own transport.
21.8 Protective clothing reimbursement
Where any employee is required to perform work of a dirty, wet or obnoxious nature, the employer must reimburse the employee for the costs incurred in purchasing suitable protective clothing and any necessary laudering costs incurred by the employee. This shall not apply where suitable protective clothing is provided and laundered at the employer’s cost. The protective clothing is to remain the property of the employer.
21.9 Electrical equipment reimbursement

21.9.1 The employer must reimburse the employee for the cost of all electrical equipment necessary for carrying out his or her work. This provision does not apply where electrical equipment is provided at the employer’s expense.

21.9.2 Where an employee is required to use his or her own tools the employer must pay to the employee a tool allowance of $5.10 per week.
