19. HOURS OF WORK
19.1 Rosters
19.1.1 Rosters to be displayed
19.1.1(a) The ordinary hours of work for each employee will be displayed on a roster in a place conveniently accessible to the employee.
19.1.1(a)(i) The roster will be displayed at least one week prior to the commencing date of the first working period in any roster.
19.1.1(b)(ii) Where reasonably practicable, such roster will be displayed two weeks prior to the commencing date of first working period in any roster.
19.1.1(b) Clause 19.1.1(a) does not make it obligatory for the employer to display a roster of ordinary hours or work of members of the relieving staff or casuals.
19.1.2 Alteration of rosters
19.1.2(a) A roster may be altered at any time to enable the services of the employer to be carried on where another employee is absent from duty on account of illness or in emergency.
19.1.2(b) Where any such alteration involves an employee working on a day which would have been his or her day off, the employee will be compensated in accordance with overtime provisions.
19.2 Record keeping
The time occupied by an employee in filling in any time record of cards or in the making of records will be treated as time of duty.
