23. TRANSFERS TO OTHER LOCATIONS - TRAVELLING TIME

23.1 Where an employee is required to work away from his/her usual place of duty at some place in the territory administered by his/her branch office, other than his/her home town, he/she will be paid, while travelling for such purpose, from town to town at ordinary rates up to a maximum of twelve hours (inclusive of the hours of duty comprised in his/her ordinary working day) in any one day, except on Sundays and holidays when payment will be at the rate of time and a half. Such payment will be in addition to fares and other expenses necessarily incurred.

23.2 When an employee is required to work at a location other than his/her usual place of duty and which does not necessitate him/her leaving his/her home town, any excess fares over what he/she normally incurs will be paid by the employer for a period not exceeding three months, together with travelling time at ordinary rates for all time in excess of the time normally spent in travelling from his/her home to his/her usual place of duty and returning.
