30. JURY SERVICE

30.1 Leave allowed

A full-time or part-time employee will be allowed leave when required to attend for jury service.

30.2 Payment

30.2.1 During such leave, an employee will be paid the difference between the jury service fees received and the employee's ordinary time earnings (including shift loadings where applicable) as if the employee was working.

30.2.2 To receive payment, an employee must provide to the Company:

• proof of their requirement to attend jury service;
• proof of actual attendance;
• proof of jury fees received for such service.

30.3 Notice

The employee must give the Company notice of the requirement to attend for jury service as soon as practicable after having received notification.
