AP831338 - Clerks’ (Alcoa of Australia – Victorian Operations) Award 2003
4.1 For the purpose of this award:
4.1.1 Act means the Workplace Relations Act 1996 as amended from time to time.
4.1.2 Afternoon shift means any shift finishing after 8.00 p.m. and at or before midnight.
4.1.3 Commission means the Australian Industrial Relations Commission.

4.1.4 Company or Companies means Alcoa of Australia Limited, Alcoa Australia Rolled Products Pty Ltd or Alcoa Portland Aluminium Pty Ltd.
4.1.5 Continuous work means work carried on with consecutive shifts of employees throughout the 24 hours of each of at least six consecutive days without interruption except those due to breakdown or meal breaks or due to unavoidable causes beyond the control of the Company.
4.1.6 Night shift means any shift finishing after midnight and at or before 8.00 a.m.
4.1.7 Rostered shift means a shift of which the employee concerned has had at least 48 hours notice.
4.1.8 Union means the Australian Municipal, Administrative, Clerical and Services Union (ASU).
