16. ADDITIONAL RATES FOR ORDINARY HOURS

An employee who is required to work any of their ordinary hours between 7.00 p.m. and 7.00 a.m. Monday to Friday, both inclusive, shall, in addition to the minimum weekly wage, be paid at the rate of an extra $1.47 per hour for each such hour, or part of an hour worked, with a minimum payment of $2.89 per day. Any employee, who works the majority of their ordinary hours between midnight and 7.00 a.m., shall instead be paid $1.53 per hour extra for each such hour, or part of an hour worked.
