7. RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHER AWARDS AND LEGISLATION
This award shall supersede Section II - Medibank, of the Health Insurance Commission (Salaries and Conditions of Employment) Award 1999 [AW783518 Print S2975] in relation to Medibank Private Limited.
No employee shall, as a result of the making of this award, suffer any loss of existing wages or other benefits which would constitute any allowable award matter to which the employee is entitled to prior to the date of the coming into operation of this award.
7.1 National Training Wage Award
7.1.1 A party to this award shall comply with the terms of the National Training Wage Award 2000 [AW790899 PR904174] as varied, as though bound by clause 4 of that award.
7.1.2 The terms of the National Training Wage Award 2000, as varied, shall apply to the employment under this award so as to override Traineeship (ATS) and Career Start Traineeship clauses in the manner specified in clause 6 of the National Training Wage Award 2000, as varied, for employers bound by that award.
7.2 Inconsistency with legislation and regulations
The employee’s entitlements, if any, under the following Commonwealth laws are not affected by this award:
