16.1 Not less than thirty minutes nor more than one hour shall be allowed for each meal. The employer shall notify the employee in advance of the time fixed for the meal and the time once fixed shall not be altered unless and until after one weeks notice of such alteration has been given to the employees concerned.
16.2 An employee who is required to work overtime for two hours or more and who has less than 24 hours notice shall be paid $8.50 for each meal.
16.3 An employer may include the payment of tea money in the ordinary pay of an employee on his or her usual pay day.
16.4 Employees who have been notified that they will be required to work overtime as in 16.2 but who are then not required to work such overtime shall be paid the meal allowance of $8.50.
16.5 Employees, of their own will, working with the concurrence of the employer during or through a meal hour in order to complete a specific function or job, shall not be entitled to a tea money prescribed in 16.2.
16.6 An employee who is required to work more than one hour of overtime after his or her normal time of ceasing duty shall be entitled to a ten minute paid break after the completion of the first hour.
