4.1 Administrative assistant shall mean an employee engaged primarily to perform a range of clerical and office duties. An administrative assistant may also perform the duties of a service assistant on a needs basis.
4.2 AIRC shall mean the Australian Industrial Relations Commission.
4.3 Anniversary year shall mean each period of 12 months commencing on the employee’s date of engagement with Post Fulfilment Online Pty Ltd (PFO).
4.4 Casual employee shall mean an employee engaged on an hourly basis to perform the duties prescribed for any classification within this award.
4.5 Continuous service shall for the purpose of leave accruals include all service with PFO from the date of engagement, but shall not include in any anniversary year of accrual:
4.5.1 unauthorised absences of more than one week; or
4.5.2 any authorised unpaid absence of more than one week due to sickness.
4.6 Team Leader Manager shall mean an employee who is engaged to manage a department or departments.
4.7 Limited tenure shall refer to a permanent employee engaged for a specific task or tasks and/or for a specific period of time.
4.8 Ordinary time earnings shall mean payment based upon the stipulated weekly wage rate for the appropriate classification as defined in clause 14 - Classification, rates of pay and superannuation, of this award.
4.9 Permanent employee shall mean either a full-time or part-time employee engaged on weekly hire.
