30. JURY SERVICE

30.1 A full-time or part-time employee shall be allowed leave when required to attend for jury service. During such leave, an employee shall be paid the difference between the jury service fees received and the employee’s ordinary time earnings (including shift loadings where applicable) as if working.

30.2 To receive payment, an employee shall provide to PFO:

• proof of their requirement to attend jury service;
• proof of actual attendance; and
• proof of jury fees received for such service.

30.3 The employee shall give PFO notice of such requirement to attend as soon as practicable after having received notification to attend for jury service.
