11.1 Employment, other than of a casual, will be terminated only by appropriate notice on either side or by the payment by the employer or forfeiture by the employee of wages in lieu of notice.

11.3 Employees with at least two years’ service aged 45 or older will be given an additional one-week’s notice.
11.4 Casuals are to be given and will give notice to the end of the current shift worked.
