PART 5 – HOURS OF WORK, SHIFT WORK, BREAKS AND OVERTIME 

31. STARTING AND FINISHING TIMES

Each employer shall fix a regular starting and finishing time for his/her employees which shall be the same on each day of the week. In any case where it is not so fixed, such starting time shall be 6.00 a.m., until it is otherwise fixed by the employer. Where an employer desires to vary or change the regular starting time of an employee he/she shall give one week’s notice of such variation or change to the employee concerned and post a notice of the intended change at the depot or yard.
