34.1 Any employee appointed by the employer to perform first aid duty in any gang shall be paid $1.02 per day in addition to his/her ordinary rate.
34.2 Provided that any person so appointed, holding first aid qualifications from St John Ambulance or a similar body, shall, in addition, be paid a further amount of $1.02 per day.
