4 yearly review of modern awards – release of statistical reports.

[1] The Fair Work Commission (Commission) has released three statistical reports to assist parties to the penalty rates case.

[2] The three reports are:

(i) Industry profile—Accommodation and food services
(ii) Industry profile—Retail trade
(iii) Changing work patterns

[3] The reports have been prepared by staff of the Commission and do not represent the views of the Full Bench.

[4] A number of updates to data sources included in the reports will be released in January to March 2016. The reports will be updated as necessary over this period.

[5] The Full Bench proposes to take this material into account in its consideration of the various matters before it. Parties are invited to comment on the statistical reports when making their submissions in the proceedings.
