Fair Work Act 2009
s.156 - 4 yearly review of modern awards
4 yearly review of modern awards—Penalty rates
(AM2014/305)
JUSTICE ROSS, PRESIDENT |
MELBOURNE, 9 OCTOBER 2015 |
4 yearly review of modern awards - penalty rates - final schedule.
[1] On 1 October a revised draft schedule for the retail evidence to be heard in the period from 12 to 30 October 2015 was published and parties were directed to file any comments on the draft witness schedule by Thursday 8 October 2015.
[2] Correspondence proposing amendments was received from the Pharmacy Guild of Australia (PGA). The PGA proposed to reschedule some of the witnesses on Wednesday 14 October 2015. We have made the amendments proposed. In addition, the order of witnesses in the morning of Monday 19 October 2015 has been amended to accommodate for the different State time zones.
[3] The Shop, Distributive and Allied Employees’ Association advised that it does not require witnesses Marek Kopias (5. Ai Group) and Gina Feast (9. Ai Group) for cross examination and accordingly these witnesses have been removed from the final schedule. The following consequential changes have also been made to the schedule for Monday 26 October 2015:
(i) Adam Dando (6. Ai Group) moved to 11.30 am; and
(ii) Ayman Haydar (10. Ai Group) moved to 3.00 pm.
[4] The final schedule is set out at Attachment A.
