s.156 - 4 yearly review of modern awards

4 yearly review of modern awards – penalty rates.
[1] This Statement deals with the schedule for the final hearings to be held from 11 to 15 April 2016 inclusive.
[2] Further to the mention on Thursday 7 April 2016, the Full Bench directs as follows:
1. The hearings will be held in Sydney, with video links available. Requests for video links are to be forwarded to chambers.ross.j@fwc.gov.au.
2. The Employer parties will make their oral submissions on Monday and Tuesday (11-12 April). The Employer parties will determine for themselves the order of their respective addresses.
3. The SDA and United Voice will make their oral submissions on Wednesday and Thursday (13-14 April). The Union parties will determine for themselves the order of their respective addresses.
4. Friday 15 April will be reserved.
5. The hearings on each day will commence at 10am and conclude at 4:30pm. The parties’ submissions will be confined to the allocated days.
6. The Full Bench has read the extensive written submissions filed in the proceeding. In their oral submissions parties may highlight particular aspects of the matters set out in their written submissions but should not simply repeat submissions already put in writing. Parties may also raise issues relating to the background paper published by the Commission and comment on the submissions of non-parties and the effect of the Productivity Commission Final Report.
