4 yearly review of modern awards—update of statistical reports

[1] In a Statement issued on 24 December 2015, the Full Bench released three statistical reports that were updated as necessary in January and March 2016.

[2] The three statistical reports have now been reproduced to include data up to 28 September 2016:

● Industry profile—Accommodation and food services
● Industry profile—Retail trade
● Changing work patterns

[3] In addition to the data provided in the Accommodation and food services industry profiles, data on characteristics of employment that is related to the Fast food industry has been included (Table 5.10).

[4] The Full Bench proposes to take this material into account in its consideration of the various matters before it.

[5] Parties are invited to make submissions on the statistical reports by 5.00pm Friday 14 October 2016. Submissions in reply to be filed and served by 5.00pm Friday 28 October 2016.

[6] Parties have liberty to apply generally.

[7] Submissions can be filed electronically at amod@fwc.gov.au.
