The analysis divides the enterprise workforce by three categories of worker, these being:
An example of how to interpret this analysis is that, on average, the workforce of enterprises in the Accommodation and food services industry predominantly comprise casual employee (58 per cent) and permanent employee (37 per cent) workers. Non-employee workers comprise under 5 per cent of the workforce of enterprises in the Accommodation and food services industry.
The visualisation defaults to show all enterprises estimates within each industry division. However, users can also select and filter for small, medium and large sized enterprises. Enterprises have been defined as small if they had between 5 and 20 employees, medium if they had between 20 and 199 employees and large if they had 200 or more employees.
Alternative analysis of workforce estimates is also available in the Workforce Profile and Workforce management practices, Operating practices & organisation of work sections of the AWRS First Findings Report.
