Where an employee is called upon to perform two or more grades of work in any one day he/she shall for the purposes of assessing the wages to be paid, be deemed to have worked the whole day at the grade of work for which the highest rate of wages is prescribed.
An employee transferred to perform a grade of work for which a lesser rate of wage is prescribed than that at which he/she is usually employed shall not be paid at such lesser rate unless he/she is given a weeks' notice of such change of wage rate.
