21.1 Subject to the following subclauses, wages shall be paid between the hours of noon and 5.00 p.m. on the usual pay day of the employer (which shall be no later than Thursday in each week) and shall be made up to midnight of the second day before pay day. Provided that where an employer and the majority of his/her employees agree, payment may be made by cheque no later than Wednesday of each week.
21.2 Where an employer and employee agree, the employee may be paid his/her wages by cheque or by direct payment into the employee's bank account without a requirement for the employer to provide encashment facilities.
21.3 The day upon which payment is made to an employee may be varied where agreement is reached between an employer and the majority of his/her employees.
21.4 When an employee is dismissed or his/her employment terminates he/she shall be paid when he/she ceases work the wages then due to the employee.
21.5 By agreement between the employer and the affected employee, the employee may be paid weekly in accordance with an averaging system.
