22. CLIMATIC AND ISOLATION ALLOWANCE
(i) Subject to subclause (ii) of this clause, persons employed in facilities situated upon or to the west of a line drawn as hereinafter specified shall be paid an amount per week as set out in Item 9 of Table 2 of Part B in addition to their weekly wage. The line shall be drawn as follows: commencing at Tocumwal and then to the following towns in order, namely: Lockhart; Narrandera; Leeton; Peak Hill; Gilgandra; Dunedoo; Coolah; Boggabri; Inverell; and Bonshaw.
(ii) Persons employed in facilities situated upon or to the west of a line drawn as hereinafter specified shall be paid an amount per week as set out in Item 9 of Table 2 of Part B in addition to their weekly wage. The line shall be drawn as follows: commencing at a point on the right bank of the Murray River opposite Swan Hill (Victoria) and then to the following towns in order, namely: Hay; Hillston; Nyngan; Walgett; Collarenebri; and Mungindi.
(iii) Except for the computation of overtime, the allowance prescribed by this clause shall be regarded as part of the rate for the purpose of this award.
(iv) The allowances prescribed by this clause are not cumulative.
(v) An employee who works less than the hours prescribed for a full-time employee within clause 4, Hours, shall be entitled to the allowance prescribed by this clause in the same proportion as the average hours worked each week bears to 38 ordinary hours.
