AN120673 – Charitable Institutions (Professional Staff Social Workers)(State) Award
7.1 A part-time employee shall mean an employee who works a specified number of ordinary hours which are less than those prescribed for a full-time employee.
7.2 Part-time employees shall be paid an hourly rate calculated on the basis of one thirty-eighth of the appropriate weekly rate prescribed by clause 3, Salaries.
7.3 The provisions of this award shall apply to part-time employees on a pro rata basis.
7.4 Notwithstanding the provisions of subclauses 7.1 to 7.3 of this clause, the union and an employer may agree in writing to observe other conditions in order to meet special cases.
